Ordering

Green With Joy offers 24-hour online shopping for Canadians. Online ordering is the fastest, most secure way to place your order. Orders are generally packed and shipped within 12 business hours. Alternately, you can shop by telephone. If you do not shop online, prefer to pick your order up in person (for PEI residents only), or need assistance feel free to call us at 902-213-4344 or email us.

Green With Joy’s entire inventory is synced with our online store so what you see on our website is what we have in-stock and ready to ship. That being said, sometimes errors happen! In the unlikely event an item you order is out of stock, we will contact you to determine how we can best accommodate your needs. For example, we can order the item in and ship it to you separately at no cost, substitute a comparable item, or remove it from your order. The choice is always yours.
Are we low or out of stock in a colour/size/product you would like? Just get in touch, we are happy to custom order items for you from our suppliers. A 100% non-refundable prepayment may be required depending on the item. This will be determined on a case by case basis.


Pricing & Payment

Currency & Pricing: All prices are in Canadian dollars. In the unlikely event of a discrepancy, typographical or otherwise, the regular pricing will be taken as the correct pricing. We reserve the right to bill or refund any difference in pricing that may occur as a result of a typographical error. But don’t worry, we will contact you first to let you know and give you the option to change your order!

Payments Accepted: Online and phone purchases can be securely paid for via PayPal, VISA and Mastercard. Email money transfers are also accepted, contact us at sarah@greenwithjoy.ca to arrange. Local-pickups can pay in cash if the order will be picked up within 1-5 business days.

Discount Codes: Everyone loves a discount and we love to giving them! Follow us on social media so you don’t miss out. Our coupons have no cash value and unless otherwise noted, coupons are single-use only, and cannot be combined with other coupons or special promotional offers, or on orders already placed. As per manufacturer’s regulations, some specific products are exempt from coupons.

 


Shipping

We love shopping online and know that you do too! We also know that when you buy something online, you’re super excited and want it as quickly as possible. We promise to get your order to you as soon as humanly possible. Many orders are shipped the same day you place your order, definitely within 12 business hours. Items are shipped via Canada Post Xpresspost or Expedited Parcel Service, and are guaranteed to arrive within 3-11 business days, if not sooner. This shipping option includes a tracking number and up to $100 of insurance (Free Lettermail does not include insurance). In a hurry? Want more insurance? Just contact us for a quote. (Excludes remote locations defined by Canada Post.)

Pick Up
If you live in Prince Edward Island, you may also choose to save on shipping and arrange to pick up your order. We offer free local pick-up in Charlottetown, Summerside and Kensington. Select one of the “Local Pick Up” options at checkout and we will email you to let you know which day or days we will be in the area so you can pick-up your order (usually this can be arranged within 1-5 days of your order).

Shipping Rates
Green With Joy offers $9.95 flat-rate shipping within Canada for most orders under $145, and free shipping for most orders over $145 (before taxes) and on Lettermail orders. Some exceptions apply*.
* We know that no one likes to pay for shipping, but we are a small business and Canada Post is expensive. Green With Joy’s shipping fees are equal to, if not less than, the actual shipping charges. As a bonus, all Canadian orders over $145 are shipped free! Some heavier or bulky items are exempt from our free shipping offer and may be subject to an additional shipping charge. Free shipping and flat rate shipping does not apply to remote locations as defined by Canada Post. For any additional shipping charges we will contact you prior to processing your order to discuss options with you. The purchase of trial, and rental programs do not count towards your product total for free shipping calculation. Free shipping cannot be combined with any other sale, discount or promotion.

Free Shipping via Lettermail
Some of our smaller products can be shipped via Lettermail instead of parcel mail. Lettermail shipping is intended for thin, light items, weighing less than 300g AND under 2cm tall. (Eg: cloth diapers, wet bags, mini zips etc). This service does not include a tracking number or insurance, and Green With Joy is not responsible for lost or stolen parcels gone astray using this method. If you are ordering these items and would like the safeguard of a tracking number or insurance, please contact us. Green With Joy offers local pickup as well as shipping within Canada. However, we do not ship outside of Canada at this time. Customers can track their orders in the “My Accounts” section of this website. If your purchase is applicable for lettermail ship and you agree to any risks with untracked shipping, please use the code “lettermail” at checkout for shipping charges to be dropped.

Shipments Returned Undelivered to Green With Joy
Should a shipment be returned to us through no fault of Green With Joy (e.g. delivery refusal, incorrect shipping address provided, etc.), the purchaser has the option to pay for shipping again (actual shipping rates apply), or if the purchaser chooses to cancel their order, they will be reimbursed the amount paid minus actual shipping charges. Please note that actual shipping charges may be more than the shipping charge initially paid by the customer. Green With Joy cannot be held responsible for lost, damaged or misdirected packages.

A Note About (re)Packaging
As an environmentally-friendly company, Green With Joy embraces a reduce, reuse and recycle policy. We recycle boxes and packing material. When you receive your order from us, it will be in a repurposed box (maybe even a cereal box) and may also contain recycled bubble wrap or other packing material. We encourage you to reuse the packaging as well wherever possible (craft projects for kids!), and if not possible, please recycle! If you would like your order to be gift wrapped, please add gift wrapping to your cart and make a note during checkout or just get in touch, we are happy
to help.


Return Policy

Green With Joy will gladly accept returns or exchanges on your items. Please email us within 15 days of receiving your order at info@greenwithjoy.ca or call Lydia @902-213-4344. Please do not send items back without contacting us first. Any items returned more than 15 days after receipt, but less than 31 days can be exchanged or returned for store credit only. After 31 days all sales are final. We require the following information to process an exchange/return:

  • Customer’s Name
  • Mailing Address
  • Description of products for return or exchange
  • Reason for return/exchange
  • How you would like your return handled: refund, store credit, or exchange

Once you get an email confirmation that we have processed a preliminary return order you can send the product back to us via Canada Post. Unless we made a mistake with your order, you are responsible for return or exchange shipping charges. Shipping charges are non-refundable. If you received free shipping as part of your purchase, the actual cost of shipping will be deducted from the return amount if the returned items drop your order total below the free shipping minimum of $145. If you paid the flat rate shipping fee, the full item cost will be returned minus the actual shipping charges. Green With Joy is not responsible for lost or damaged packages, so please consider insuring them or using delivery confirmation. Returns on orders totaling $250 or greater are subject to a 10% restocking fee to cover credit card/payment fees and other costs associated with the return.
If you have purchased a set of items at a bundle price and return only part of that bundle, you will be refunded the cost of your items, minus the single item price per item you have kept.
Condition: Returned items must be in NEW condition – in original packaging, unwashed, and unworn. Green With Joy must be able to resell any items returned. If packaging is opened or damaged, or items have been
washed or worn, we are unable to accept the merchandise. Green With Joy reserves the right to refuse the return or exchange of any products that we feel cannot be resold based on evidence of use, damaged contents or
packaging, tags missing etc. If you have purchased diapers we recommend trying ONE diaper on for size before opening all the diapers and washing them.

Manufacturer’s Defects and Warranties
Individual manufacturers handle most warranty issues. Green With Joy has partnered with many of these companies because of their excellent customer service. Please let us know of any manufacturer’s defects and we will assist you with directing your request to the appropriate manufacturing channels. We, nor our manufacturers, are responsible for damage to an item caused by improper care, abuse, misuse, normal fading or normal “wear and tear” of the product materials. In most cases, care instructions are shipped with the product, but if you need further guidance on how to properly care for your purchases, please do not hesitate to ask. We love to help!

Exceptions
Clearance and custom items are non-returnable, nor are baby slings/carriers unless warranty tags are still attached. Potty and feminine hygiene products are final sale, as are personal care/bath products, and some feeding/nursing items.
